How to enter the Earthforce Saga... Enter the Wild Zone!

ABOUT WILD ZONE, by the Author

It was the first novel I ever wrote, and like a first love, I always had a soft spot in my heart for it. In the beginning, I went the traditional route and sent it out to a "Brick & Mortar House." Here's what happened...

A professional publishing house with 50 years of sci-fi credibility read Wild Zone and liked it enough to advance it twice, passing it for first and second reads. That happens to 1 in a 1000 books. Then they asked for the sequel, Mother Heart, and it passed both first and second reads too. They then sat on both books for three years because that's what traditional publishing does when they can't figure out how to slot a book.

Then the author, yours truly, rather than wait another three years for a bureaucrat to make a decision, pulled the books, and published them himself because I believed in them that much. That's not a rejection story. That's a story about a book that was too good to wait.

Wild Zone was published on Amazon for kindle and as a quality Trade paperback through the miracle of Print on Demand publishing, and soon its first sequel Mother Heart followed. I moved on and wrote 10 other books, the last of which was my best selling naval fiction Kirov, launching what became a 70 book series.

But I never forgot about the two Sci-Fi books that started my career, and one day, I began writing a third book for that story to complete a Trilogy. That was Nightwatch, and it led me back to my first love as a reader and a writer--Science Fiction. So when I finished the Kirov Series I started a new Science Fiction Epic The Earthforce Saga, a story that grew from the already well tilled soil of the Wild Zone. 12 years and 70 books later, I came back to Planet Dharma-6, because that story is the most imaginative and engaging writing I have ever done. My imagination exploded yet again to create the Earthforce Saga, and the culture, technology, Star Map, and colonies that were at the heart of the world I built in Wild Zone now became the ground floor of the Earthforce Saga when the two series merged in its 8th book Outreach.

I always wanted to use the Wild Zone Dharman Series Trilogy as a diving board to create a much more expansive world based on that story, and that's what the Earthforce Saga became. Humanity reached for the stars, and I took them there, to a point now where there are 92 off world colonies that grew from the first seven that were part of the original Wild Zone Trilogy. And because of Einstein's theory of Time dilation, I found a way to seamlessly merge the Wild Zone Story and its character set right into Earthforce. So I honored them with the lead-off spot for the Earthforce Saga because the Wild Zone books are the perfect entry to the expansive Science Fiction world I am now continuing to build in the Earthforce saga. I invite you to first enter the Wild Zone, and see where it leads you.

“The Earthforce Saga represents one of the most ambitious and enduring epics in modern science fiction. The author’s ability to evolve a long-running military series into a vast, philosophical space opera is nothing short of remarkable. It feels both mythic and immediate, a thrilling convergence of cosmic mystery and human courage. How do civilizations respond to forces beyond their control? The book’s blend of interstellar mystery, military realism, and mythological resonance creates a fertile ground for debate and reflection.

The incredible scope and ambition behind this work is impressive—a vast and ongoing saga—The Earthforce Saga, now at 31 Books and still growing. That’s an extraordinary achievement and a real testament to the Author’s consistency and world-building skill.”
